The Clearing is a multimedia installation of columns made of handmade paper, knitted copper wire, and found objects from nature. Columns range from 4’ to 9’ tall. Four vessels representing fire, wind, air and water surround a central clearing. In the center of the clearing is a stone where people may sit.
